Methodology
CCRI's sustainability indicators all build on the same underlying methodology — how we measure and model a network's electricity consumption and GHG emissions, and how these totals are allocated to individual holdings and transactions. The Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation then mandates a specific, additional set of sustainability indicators, calculated using that same underlying methodology.
- MiCA Indicators — the MiCA sustainability indicators specified in Delegated Regulation and how each is calculated.
- Carbon Accounting Methodology — how we calculate electricity consumption, GHG emissions, and allocation to holdings and transactions, per network and consensus mechanism, plus the representative hardware sets those calculations rely on.
